How does Data Wand work?
Take a photo of any paper form with your iPhone. Data Wand reads the text using on-device OCR and sends it to the Chrome extension, which fills in your web form automatically. See How It Works for a full walkthrough.
Is my data private?
Yes. All OCR processing happens on your devices. No form data is sent to external servers. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
What browsers are supported?
Data Wand works with Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc) via the Chrome Web Store.
Do I need an iPhone?
Yes. The iOS app captures paper forms using your iPhone camera. An Android version is not currently available.
How do I connect my iPhone to the extension?
Open the Data Wand iOS app and the Chrome extension on the same network. The extension displays a pairing code that you enter on your iPhone to establish a secure connection.
Can I export data to Google Sheets?
Yes. Data Wand includes an optional Google Sheets integration. You can export extracted form data directly to any spreadsheet you authorize.
